CONFERENCE - CENTRAL EUROPE IN FOCUS

BCSS is happy to announce Central Europe in FocusConference on 25th March 2009 in London which is being organized by The Council of British Chambers of Commerce in Europe (COBCOE) and British Polish Chamber of Commerce.

In these uncertain financial times, it is especially important to develop new sources of business and to recognise opportunities for economic development beyond those on your own doorstep. Going forward, the Central and Eastern European region will be a focus of major regeneration and growth due to the injection of EU funds and other external investment and, in light of this, this Forum will provide a unique platform to create relationships and build partnerships with colleagues from across Europe.

The Forum will take an in depth look at commercial, trade and investment opportunities that have not yet been exploited. For focused sector discussions, breakout groups will take place in the second part of the day, and there will also be face to face meetings to help develop those initial stages of future relationships.
The Forum will be supported by a COBCOE Country Chamber Exhibition which will be an excellent way of meeting country experts and understanding specific country opportunities.
Why is the Central Europe in Focus Executive Forum so important?
• The new CEE member states create a market of over 200m consumers – excellent sales growth potential for companies in established EU markets.
• CEE provides excellent opportunities for infrastructure development, re-generation and real estate – there are many “must see” high potential developments.
• In the present economic environment there are a range of excellent investment opportunities – the time is right for expansion in CEE.
• Hundreds of billions of EU funds will be pumped into the economies of CEE over the next 10 years – this will create unprecedented growth potential and will change the face of these countries.
• Corporations in CEE are looking to invest in the established markets of Europe – is your country addressing this investment opportunity?

Don’t miss out on the opportunity to participate in this unprecedented conference taking place in London on 25th March. For further information click here!
